IUGA server update part 2

Posted by Colin Booth

Just a brief note for those of you who are interested.  Forums have been set up, a wiki has been created, and we are basically open for business.  There are a few things left to do, but besides a last coat of paint this place is ready to move in to.  If you or if you know of anyone in Informatics who has a good eye for graphic design and wants to help me make things look good and a little less samey, please get in touch with me so we can make things look nice as well as functional.

Additionally, I will be making some changes to the way IUGA membership registration works.  So if you’re an incoming member of the 9th cohort, please follow the forum link and create an account there and I’ll modify the member display code to display everything correctly.

Cheers!

IUGA server update

Posted by Colin Booth

The IUGA web server has been updated and mediawiki has successfully been installed. Over the next week or so I will be getting it up and running and at some point towards the middle of summer quarter it should be ready for general use by Informatics students. Use it for capstone ideas and comments, course descriptions, and really whatever people want to use it for.

The skies the limit!
